Baithak@Classes

Baithak@Classes

Baithak@Classes is Baithak Foundation’s flagship program. In this program, we start with curating concerts and interactive sessions for the students. The art forms that we include in this program are a mix of vocal (Hindustani, Dhrupad and Carnatic), instruments (Sitar, Sarod, Sarangi, Santoor etc.) and dance forms (Kathak, Bharatnatyam and Odissi).

Kids sign up voluntarily for the concerts. Each concert is followed by interaction with artists. Each concert has an element of participation where kids also sing/join the artists to understand music better.

In the second phase of this program, we introduce workshops for the various art forms along with the concerts. After successful execution for 2 years, this program is matured into Baithak Taalim, another program of Baithak Foundation where Baithak Fellows visit the school monthly and teach a specific art form to a batch of students.
