Baithak Foundation believes that music exposure and education are as important as mainstream education.

Since 2016, we are working towards creating a society with equitable music access and learning opportunities for children from the most marginalised communities.

Instead of working in a silo, Baithak believes in collaborative effort which involves bringing together numerous components of the eco-system of Indian Classical Music. Working as a co-operative ensures efficient project execution leading to higher social ROI. This page showcases work portfolio of a co-operative, consisting of handful of organisations which are working together to strengthen the eco-system of Indian Classical Music. For more information about these projects, you can either get in touch with us or the respective organisations.

Anunaad Acoustic Concerts

In association with Sakal India Foundation, Baithak organises fully acoustic concerts in stone temples.

These concerts turn out to be pure acoustic bliss, thanks to rich sonic properties of the stone architecture and involvement of senior musicians.

Illustrated Books

After working with schools and children for a period of over one year, Baithak Foundation has recognised the need for good quality literature, textbooks and other teaching aids. Knowledge about Indian Classical Music has been primarily reduced to cold facts and highly technical content. A study of available content for children highlights the need for engaging text, appropriate for young readers.

Our first book, Freddy, on the life of Pt. Firoz Dastur is available for readers on Amazon. Book your copy here.
